More painting .. the eyes seem to be the biggest focal point of this build .. they remind me Of the malted milk ball candy ... lol |

More progress .. starting to add detail to the “wound” and body color .. the legs are fairly narrow but I thought I’d add a couple Of sporting pin stripes ...lol |

Lookin creepy! You're really getting the hang of painting eyeballs.
How big is he? I can see him as part of a diorama, either behind a magnifying glass, or busting thru a swatter!

Pinstriped yellow lines to break up all the Kandy green.. starting final assembly gluing /positioning eyes in place.. now to figure a little added detail on the wings ! |

Moving forward on FrankenFly.. first I polished the wings to make them a little smoother.. then a marker and highlighted the veins .... after allowing the marker to dry I mixed up some green metal flake and 2-part automotive urethane clear and mixed together and sprayed a couple modest coats .. then topped with 3 light coats of straight clear .. this allows the light to be absorbed and reflect the flakes from different directions of light .. almost done ! |
