Finally done! My putting Davey off his motosickle and into a paper tiger.... mostly anyways. I thought he might look good in a tank turret, so with that idea, we just started scratchbuilding everything around it. Used a lot of leftover WeirdOh parts- the spoked wheels helped propel the tank idea as well. Foam board and pizza box cardboard make up most of the Brat Wagen, and more details with the pictures..... Ok! Davey has just spotted a sausage truck here, after taking a big bite of one of his yummy White Pine flavored bratwursts.... his binoculars were the rear axle from the Drag Hag kit, radio antenna is a microphone stand from a Frantics kit.... Now he's going the other way! But now we can see his shovel made from the top half of one of the Frantic's guitars, and the supercharged engine from Endsville Eddie, if my memory serves.... Stay out of his way! Here we see the exhaust pipes from the Drag Hag kit, stuffed into half the light box from Digger's scene, and a cut down cheap scraper handle for some kind of grill/vent, whatever. Side armor is foam board with more foam board reinforcing triangles all glued with hot melt glue. Don't go away- more pics next post π

More Brat Wagen pictures! Let's have a look at this fine fellow. He's proud of his Iron Cross (even though it's just cheap diamond plate painted gold) and his Bone Head hat. Really lucked out painting his bratwursts- all acrylic craft paints on the carved white pine sausages. Binocular lenses are tinted with dark blue acrylic paint mixed with FUTURE, and I seem to just resist painting my WeirdOh folks green.... maybe next time, I always say. Davey is double jointed. Found out after gluing Endsville Eddie's arm on him..... LOL! Think that's Eddie's hand too. Love painting these characters. Good practice, and don't have to be "accurate"..... it's a WeirdOh! ππ I was going to give Davey a bit of stubble, but decided to just drill holes for a simulated 5 o'clock shadow. My little battery powered Tamiya drill made quick work of his beard. Now, those teeth...... finally just sealed up his huge pie hole with a piece of styrene sheet, then glued upper and lower teeths made out of cardboard in. More painting fun.....

Thanks Joe It's Davey- he's amazing Little more details here, should wind things up? Das Brat Wagen! Exhaust pipes, two halves of Daddy's briefcase with the handle bent up for hatches. Various other leftover WeirdOh parts glued on. The Brat boxes are paper folded with bandaid flexible tape cut in thin strips. Davey has a good grip on that sausage, using DIGGER's left arm.... LOL! Davey's arms were just too short, so we just did some transplanting. He has a good supply of brats, but he's always looking for more. The fork & spoon started life as another WeirdOh kit rear end bit.... Aaaand that's that folks! Onto another sausage shop! While Davey searches afar off, his crew man the basketball machine gun (courtesy of Foul Francis) and the bottom half guitar front hatch is locked. Thanks for looking π
