A lot of people will argue this point (and I won't get into that) but in my experience Revell does listen to even a little group like us . The amount of time needed to plan and reissue any kit can make it seem like they don't . The decision to reissue the Baja Humbug was made back in June of 2016 and the target date was December 2017 . At the same time a second DW was picked for reissue and it's already in the works , so it should get to us a bit faster .  |

Since I'm currently working on restoring a rough Phoney Car , I'd say that will be the next one reissued ; it seems to happen every time I finish one ! LOL

Thanks for all that you do. At the moment I'm not really into the Baja Humbug that much but, I will buy a couple of them. Yep the guessin' game is cool but,for me I don't have a favorite want. I have more builds planned in my head than I could ever get done as it is now. With that said dependin' on what the new release would be it may just arrange the mental build list a bit though. Even tho' there isn't any real surprise inside I still can't wait to open one up , I haven't been this excited about a reissue in a very long time ! Mine are scheduled for delivery on Saturday !  |

Ok... just a quick kit review on the Baja Humbug ... molded is a REALLY dark blue almost black ... everything is bagged separately ..2pc front tires, 2 pc rear tires, glass , chrome, and body parts ... a little flash here and there but a welcomed site for us builders !! Decals are the basic transfers .. nothing extra in here !!

Thanks for the pics Chuck ! I was told it would be molded in color instead of white . . . not really sure how I feel about that . As long as it's not the original blue/sparkly color the original kits should hold their value okay . |
