Since I had another set of these wheels I thought I would use up some more parts to put them on.

Lots of little things done. One of the few things that need to be done on the eye gone wild kit is to fill the two slits on the firewall. The other is to remove the three tubular tabs on the backside of the grille as that will bring the whole front in a quarter inch closer and it won't be so unsightly. Also in order for the "torn" roof metal to not look like a crown - the torn pieces need to be bent a bit. Also made a grille back to fill in the empty space there and a floor for the monster to stand on and divider between the trunk and cabin and added a rear axle just glued to the upper wheel arch. This a low hot rod. I would love to put some official "Car-toons" decals on the side and deck lid. Anybody ever make something like that?

Nice job "cleanin' up" that coupe. I like the way that you think...I never liked the jagged torn top on that model but, bendin' them helped. I guess that I just have it stuck in my head that early Fords had soft top inserts. "Official CAR-TOON decals" Did I say that I like to way that you think? Cheer,Smokey

Hey Smokey, Yep - I always thought 32's should have a nice soft insert on the roof. That is why when I built the eye gone wild kit the first time I put a soft insert on it using naugahyde. see pic. But this time around I wanted to see if those goofy torn metal pieces could be made to look halfway decent. We will see after the paint. How about Car-toon stickers for our real car?
