For its day it has a fair amount of good detailing .. just things like imperfections effecting some of detail makes it hard to work around especially smaller detailing on the engine despite its larger scale

My 1/16th scale RACE kit is coming slowly !! I am making an effort to finish but taking plenty of time because of its rarity .. a lot of tweaking of this vintage resin kit was needed .. the headers could easily be replaced but I’m wanting to keep the kit integral ... so for now a couple shots of paint before clear !!

Sprayed a few test panels playing with metal
Flake ... decided to flake the heck out of the Finkster’s helmet.. also painted and clear coated the frame.. now on to the figure detailing, frame detailing then tires & engine.. !
