What an odd kit !! Not sure it would politically correct by today’s standards.. lol “Road Hog” is on the table and getting prepped for assembly and paint ... the one piece body was prepped, primed, and base coated with House of Kolors Orion Silver.. I’m using a new top coat paint line called Autoair .. we will see how things go with my second “Mild to Wild” entry..

Showing Caribe Blue top coat with a handful of miniflake for good measure added to the House of Kolor Kosmic Klear for some shine... also dabbing into Autoair fluorescent hot pink for the driver ...

A little chrome pen detail in the car parts .. this thing is fairly small and lacks a ton of detail .. not going to get too involved rather just have some fun !!

`Great colors!
I under estimated the simplicity of this kit and as a result struggled with some of the fit on the arms.
It might lack detail but looks good on the shelf with the other Weird-ohs.

One of those fun kits you really don't need directions for.
I've got one in the stash from the re-release, but the one on my shelf was from a red styrene test run, and was missing the stogie. Easy fix, tho.

Just wasn’t happy with the direction of the paint on the figure.. I had purchased an AutoAire Acrylic bundle and that I’d give it a go..I even tried brushing Tamiya Acrylic over and no success . kind of tough for an old lacquer guy to switch but wanted to try... I bought the “Candy02” and Flurocent paints very opaque.. I just need more time to play with them as most are airbrush only .. hard to get the detail you want in some areas with an airbrush ... so..... in the purple pond goes the piggy ..

When I was building mine - I just cut off his hands where they meet the shirt - then I was able to paint that area better - then after painting I just glued them back on (after inserting a styrene tube in the resulting hole for strength). Helped a whole lot! |

Helped a whole lot! Thanks For the tip Fletch ! ( and the sticker lol) .. we have a clean piggy !! I’ve got some other plans for this old Pig so evidently the direction I was going wasn’t meant to pan out ! The little ‘57 Chevy turned out decent and I carved him up a stogie to keep him occupied on his long trips ... the kit actually came with a stogie but went MIA.. so I carved this one from kit spru.. |

Well a small bit of progress on mr piggy ... a bath after the purple pond and filling some seems.. I decided the hat needed sprucing up so I cut the old one off and made a Stroker cap from epoxy putty .. a little outside of my comfort zone but that’s what makes it challenging.. trying new things !
