I loved that cartoon as a kid ! I think it came out in 1968 . There were other cars in the race as well. The neat thing about it was you never knew which car was going to win each race (except for Dick Dastardly who never won) . When my son was small I bought the dvd set of the shows and he loved it as well.
Later on Dastardly and Muttley were in another cartoon about WW1 planes ,but I never watched it.
