I’ve collected built parts and pieces of the rare kit .. Brother Rat Fink .. I’ll found a pair of new arms and hands in my stash.. so now I’ll pop him apart and get this old paint off then back together!! |

A good soaking in the purple pond , new arms and hands from the parts kit , some sanding, seam sealing and primer. Now a little focus on the bike ! |

Ok ... so I didn’t like the looks of the short stubby kit front end .. I had two semi-built bikes so I’m able to show the difference .. the front fork mods worked well after finding the correct ID aluminum tubing .. Next I didn’t like the looks Of the ‘flat’ handle bars .. again , I had 2 pair of handlebars so I decided to make them look more realistic like by making them pull back bars ... |

Decided I didn’t like the red/white tank .. so I repainted this kit Bach part to resemble the colors of a police bike ... then added a tasty little pin stripe |

I robbed a couple wheels from the parts box.. I drilled the centers out to accommodate the aluminum bar stock then made brass sleeved spacers for each side.. found a nice resemblance of an old Duo-Glide seat and went to town trimming .. a quick mock up with kit engine halves and it’s starting to take on character .. |

Picture updates .. I did get a little more accomplished .I started with a base color on Brother Ratfink.. and more assembly on the bike with Molotow accents... Molotow is a great alternative to Alclad. |

Just finished adding a back pad on the sissy bar (pad not in pictures) .. bike modifications ; handle bars modified to resemble “pull back” bars, larger front headlight, extended front “chopper” forks, wide white walls , 2-tone painted and striped tank, “Duo Glide” saddle seat, horn and carb cover with intake manifold, peddle kickstart, custom fender tail light, and custom stainless steel bent wire for extended sissybar , exhaust tips were drilled and detailed as well . Airbrushed Molotow on handle bars, and exhaust pipes .. now on to the Brother Ratfink figure and his sidekick “sanitary bat” !! |
