Achtung! New WeirdOh-ish WIP in progress..... Got the idea to make - scratchbuild- a tank for a WeirdOh figure, using the leftover skinny spoked wheels I have accumulated, as idler wheels. Originally was going to use Leaky Louie as the tank commander, but he's too fat, even for a tank 😂, considered Daddy, but he isn't militay enough, so Davey got the promotion 😎 Mostly D'Gornio Pizza box and foam board and a chopstick to start..... Ok, now that his paper tiger has been skewered, we start adding more leftover parts....

Rolling right along.... Machine gun courtesy of Foul Francis, who graciously gave up his basketball 😊, and other's giving some sprue and tubing. Standard WeirdOh slick modified for rear drive sprocket (teeths to be added soon). Two halves of one of Davey's motorcycle wheels are the two inside/middle idler wheels with full one piece wheels from Drag Hag, Digger, & Daddy kits. Front slick idler will get teethed up too. Note the very thick armor 😳😅😅 Lastly, for now, we stole a mic stand from one of the Frantic Cats kits, for Davey's radio antenna. Probably put a flag of some sort on it. Thanks for looking, more to come 🤗

This is very cool!!! Nice kitty he's riding!!! LOL! Love the nice kitty J. Thanks 🤗 Thank you too Bob.... but less talk, and more WIP pictures. 😎 Uh, no Davey..... you're NOT getting that barrel 😂 Wasn't sure, so I just covered the spokes with masking tape..... and I like 🤗, so they stay that way. Now for a word from my primer..... I have been using these craft acrylics, and love them. I usually use the darker gray called Pavement, but figured I would try this Pewter.... and it's perfect military-ish gray/green a bit....

It's Prime time for adding more leftover parts! Ok, here I cut the lower part of the bass guitar from the Steel Pluckers Frantic Cats kit, layed a piece of sprue on top, and there's another hatch. From Daddy's kit, I cut the headlights off his grill, and stood them up on top of the track guard. Used a couple of Daddy's coffin hand grips for the turret, and stole the microphone stand from the Steel Pluckers kit, cut the mic off so Davey could have a radio antenna (if I didn't mention that before...🤔) Here in the rear, couple more of Daddy's coffin grab handles make for nice brackets to store the rest of that bass guitar..... which is now a shovel 😊 Not sure what the little round lid things are, but dabbed some hot melt glue on them and stuck them on top (seems all the WeirdOh kits have them) Found a nice corrugated piece of paper. Boom! It's glued down. Engine and scoop from Endsville Eddie I believe. Two hatchs are the two halves of Daddy's briefcase with handle bent up, and there's a crankshaft cover plate from DIGGER's kit on far side. All glued with Tacky Glue or hot melt glue. Wasn't sure how I was going to do the exhaust so it looks somewhat Tiger/nice kitty-ish, but finally used two halves of the marker post, or light(?) from E. Eddie kit? Can't keep track of them all. But I do know the curved exhaust pipes are from the Drag Hag kit, and settled on just 3 per side, to maintain the WeirdOh-ish-ness..... More to come. Thanks for looking 👋

Progress on Davey's Tiger.... Davey checking on his WIP binoculars. Rear axle halves from the Hag kit joined together. Slicks from any WeirdOh kit. Drive wheel on left is a slick with the tire cut off, then cardboard sprockets glued to hub. Big idler wheel is plain slick with cardboard sprockets glued on. Davey in his Tiger, without arms, and his WIP binoculars jammed into his eyeballs. Safely in my hand, showing size.

More progress..... Davey spots a sausage truck! Didn't notice until it was glued on, but Davey must be double jointed.... LOL! That's Endsville Eddie's arm, so not Davey's fault. WeirdOh Approved cardboard track installed, and outer sprockets will be added. Found out the hard way on the other side..... Closer look at Davey's binoculars. Added a gear up front, a rod, then wrapped masking tape around, and two short styrene tubing for the eyepieces. Toothpick stuck in the ends pokes into Davey's eyeballs.... LOL! Aaaannd now Davey's just about ready. He's got his BRATS, coming out of the BRAT BOX, and he's just taken a big bite of one. White pine flavor- yum Yum! Carved his brats from white pine, and pressed short lengths of florist's wire into each end. Helps with positioning them. That's all for now. Thanks for looking 😊
