I got this little resin body in a trade some time ago and it's time to do something with it ! Of course it's a Toon version of this kit . It's designed to use wheels and tires from TD Snap-Tite kits and Zoomies from a Jinx Express . The Roarin' Rail blower/scoop (on right) is supposed to poke out through the opening in the roof , but I'm thinking of trying the Boss Bulldozer parts (on the left) . The rears from the Screamin' Vette are just too big so these from the Boss Mustang will be used . Fronts are Screamin" Vette . I need to make some bumpers , a roof rack with surfboards , and a few other odds & ends . Stay tooned . . .

Toughie. While I like the forward motion of the Boss Bulldozer blower, the lower profile of the Rail scoop seems to fit the lines of the kit better. Less of a "stalk" Hmmm.

I agree , probably use the parts from the Roarin' Rail but play with the scoop a bit . Something to do this weekend if I have time .

I like the lower profile scoop as well - flows better in the design.

Thanks guys ! Yesterday I figured It would be quick work mounting the chassis into the body then I could get busy on the fun stuff . . . nope . I spent hours installing mounts in the body , trying to get the chassis in straight , and getting the ride height where I wanted it . When I was done I quit for the day so not much else was accomplished . Decided on the Roarin' Rail blower and scoop so this morning I added a flange to glue it inside the body . Then I did a little modification to improve the looks a bit . The only other progress today was cutting out the windows and making front and rear bumpers from 1/16" aluminum rod .

Wondered how you'd handle that.
Looks like the Li'l Beetle Bandito has WINGS!
(I know, it's "Li'l Baja Bandito"... but I wanted to get a bug reference in there and I have an aversion to sand fleas )
