Hmmph, those wrinkles proved more evil than anticipated.
So, the vvvVette body went into the pond.
While that trashed my white side cove decal supply, I took the opening to redo the hood horns, which were losing their definition.
A couple of pieces of shaped half round gave back that cartoon-ish exaggeration.
I might tone them down a bit, tho.

Alright, spent too much time losing the color bleed battle. Conceding:
Got a wrinkle or two to touch up after all of the reworking of the paint, but I'm happy with it. Wow!! Now that is red !!

Don't mind at all, Mike. Happy to inspire.
On, mine, she's back to being red... with an unwrinkled gloss coat!
Some gassing out and polish before I attempt masking the coves for a spray coat of white. Amazing how few of the Corvette kits came with the white decal for that, and I already used the set I had.
