Just finished this guy. Used an old hand-brushed glue bomb AMT 40 Ford so I did not have to paint it as I liked the texture.

Another awesome model Fletch ! I agree the brushed finish is perfect for it , and it looks like another shift knob found a home .

Frankie's head came from an old Halloween decoration that was in my parts box for at least 20 years - I just had to add a neck as he did not have one. His alien style shift knob was a charm from a gumball machine. Those big tires are two I had with no wheels that fit them - so using giant washers and a bolt tied it all together with Frankie who has a few bolts. His hand and arm are unknown parts. Scoop and exhaust from the same place. Add a few stitches here and there and I got a cobbled together matching pair. Mr Parts Box is another name I could have used. I did not even have to change anything on the chassis as the front and rear ends stayed in place - could not have pried them apart with all the glue on them.

Now..... THIS is pure genius .. what better way to “save” a model !! Frankie is headed to the finish line for the win !! 🏁
