Long as I was out cutting a base for my African Campaign I figured I might as well cut one for this bad boy as well... tried to leave a bit of room for some cactus or bushes and maybe a sign...

Part of me marvels at how little it takes any of us, here, to find happiness and contentment. Some people want a 1:1 scale supercar, three mansions, and WhoKnowsWhat to even aim in the general direction of "happiness". It makes me smile, big-time, to see kits from the 1970s being built / painted to a high standard, and having bases added, and so on. Some patience, some know-how, some creativity, some new paints or supplies, a board or two, and we avoid being on all the "happy pills" so many people take, that in a lot of cases, doesn't seem to make those people any happier.
I'm glad this site and this hobby exists!

Still waiting on an order to get here so I can progress with the base... my base products I wanted to use were too large scale for this little guy so went with some smaller diameter stuff I ordered online...

Got my groundwork in so I can finish up my dioramas... also scored a Rommel's Rod at a good price from Hobbylinc.com to fill out the order.

Thought it needed a comic buzzard and a rattlesnake... black clay with wire seems ok... time will tell...
