Here's what I'm working on:
Started with pieces from a 1927 Ford Touring kit (other random stuff is sure to follow).
Did some cutting
a little stitching

More stitching and shaping. I worked up the interior tub as well.
Added some sheet PVC panels for support as well as body shaping.
Constantly checking the stance. Probably not these back wheels, tho. I want more of a rounded edge slick.
Fashioning PVC tube side pipes.
Later!

Thanks, guys. Always fun to push bits around.
Moving forward.
Side pipes are attached. Put together some bones for the canopy. Waiting on epoxy putty to cure on the structure at the moment.
Fairly certain I'll be going with the rear set of wheels. They came from a diecast Nascar machine I picked up for a work project some years back. The windshield frame is box stock at the moment. That may change.

The NASCAR wheels look good on it and the whole thing is so clean ! It definitely pays off to plan ahead before you start cuttin' and bashin' parts , something I'm not very good at .

Whelp... I think I done all the parting out I can do.
The canopy is all puttied and shaped, with some preliminary paint. The new window frame is half round, with a windshield hand cut from packaging that iPad tempered glass came in. The headlights are somewhere nearby. The fuel pipe is sprue and a whittled down pen tip piece.
Ready to put some paint on this, but the weather probably won't cooperate for a bit. It'll be interesting, to say the least, doing a three-color paint job around those glued-on features.
