Thanks, yeah, these li'l kits are really cool! I've now decided on the murals and the lic plates    This morning I made a wall behind the front seats , put in a chromed shifter and found a set of tiny portholes for the upper rear corner of the side panels. Next step will be making a dashboard and floorboard for the drivers compartment. |

The kit supplied steering wheel (which according to the blueprint should be omitted in this kit) was originally a totally flat 3-spoke thing. But, since I'm now putting a dashboard in the van it'll also have a steering wheel and 'cause of that, I gave the steering wheel a "remake"  |

Dashboard was pirated out of an old AMT 1937 Chevy and will be "massaged" a tad to fit:  Here's a pic of the wall behind the seats:  |

Today I managed to get an hour or two building. So I found a spare wheel to mount in the front and I've made PINK stripes in the rear tires !!!!!   |

Lookin' good ! Are the pink stripes paint or tape ? I'm thinking of pink sidewalls for a build and haven't decided how to make them . |

The took some pink sprue (probably from a Monogram 1959 Caddy) and stretched it into a "plastic thread" , which I glued in place into the groove. |
