Tooned Thunderbirds FAB 1 - The box is nine inches long and the little FAB 1 is only three inches long. You'd think I would know better but that gets me every time . I keep hoping this time it will be the size of the box !

I showed my wife a post by fletch car-toons.proboards.com/post/8939/thread it had a pic of VW Starwars crossed. She said it was cute and left the room. Today she walked in and handed me these 2 kits. as I looked up from my work our eyes meet, she looked deep into me and knocked twice on the desk with her hand and said " I want one of those X-wing bugs". I think i said something about scale.?. But she Knocked twice more, turned and said thanks babe as she walked out. I'll make it work. Jonathan

I still haven't learned that with these Japanese kits the box is always way bigger than the kit itself ! I bit on this one cause it looked pretty neat , but it's typical . . . the body is about 4 1/2 inches long and the rest of the kit isn't worth much . It does have an interior and a driver figure that can be used . Looks like a '62 Corvette with a strange piece of luggage on the back . I bet it will make a pretty decent looking Zinger !

I made the hour drive to a small obscure hobby shop that regularly has rare and out of production kits . About an hour later I walked out with 3 kits including this one . I'm not sure what they're worth but I think I got a good deal , plus NO shipping !

My New score The Thunderbug molded in orange with white parts not silver, and missing two parts the Spike and the pilon to hold up the bug . Congrats on a super rare find !!! These are the only known kits with white plastic and they were all orange . I have one and counting yours I've seen exactly FOUR , there is a fifth one we know about but I've never seen it . Surely there were a lot more of them molded these colors but they never show up anywhere . Congrats again !

Scored another Screamin' Vette , it was missing a couple of parts but I had them in my stash . I thought this one might be olive drab but it's actual a dark green , almost looks like a metallic green !

Oooo, I like that green! I got one of the lime green ones a while back. I don't think I've seen any of the snaps in this green.
