The Roarin'Rail block is pretty generic so I was thinkin' that by changin' the heads and valve covers it could be made whatever brand you want it to be. About 1" long. Just doin' some quick figurin' 1/20 scale would do it. Until gettin' into the cartoon builds I never though about 1/20 stuff...I hit evilbay just to see what's out there in 1/20...

I may have a couple leftover heads from a project I cast a few months ago..., HOWEVER they're Hemi heads ... Let me find them - take a pic - and measure them.. They may be too big ..

Ok... Here we go ... These are 1.250 long (1 1/4" ) and .500 wide (1/2")... If these will work I'll cast up a nice pair for ya... These are seconds and have superficial flaws but they'll give you and idea... If your sticking with big block Chevy valve covers I'll look some more ....

Thanks for lookin' Please don't put a bunch of time into lookin' This gives me an excuse to get a whole die cast car or kit. Which means more parts. I could use some tires and wheels anyway. I have the Hemi valve covers from the Roarin' Rail. I' like to switch that engine to a Chevy. I can make the heads I just need valve covers. 1/20 big block or now that I think of it 1/18 small block valve covers. MPC made 1/20 Vettes with big blocks. 1/18 small from a die cast...

I bet 1/16th heads would be a perfect fit , there are lots of places that have resin pieces for a fair price .

Hey Kooltoon, I'm glad to see that you're havin' fun with the toon buildin'. I'm out of mold makin' silicone and my model buildin' time is pretty limited for a little while. There is an opening in my buddies body shop and I'm busy gettin' my 1:1 build ready to go in next week. Attachment Deleted

Hey KToon,I don't want to stray away from the "Toon" stuff but I like talkin' 'bout hot rods... No fenders,327 with trips, Richmond 5 speed , 9" rear on '40 Ford buggy spring, '51 Chevy Thistle Gray. Starryeyes, The Impala is SWEET. I like them better than bubble tops. Better yet It still has all of the trim, badges, spears etc. It's not like a completely shaved Puss... well you know what I mean...
