Do any of you guys use a pressure pot for your casting? if so how much pressure? there isn't any set amount Smokey.. resin casting as you know is accompanied by a little black magic, trial and error.. I go about 50psi depending on the limit of the device you are using I give it a few minutes and if the result isn't what I want I alter my pressure & time accordingly .. different ambient temperatures, altitudes and products all make for a unique recipe ... !! |

What are you using for a pressure pot? Im thinkin that I want to find a used paint pot instead of a new cheapy. But, thats just my early thoughts.

Thanks...yep Harbor Freight and Grizzly look to be the cheapest. I didn't know how much pressure they would take though.

I ordered a pressure tank from Harbor Freight today. 4th of July sale 25% off one item. I don't want to cast anything until I get the tank set up. My time is limited so I'm not sure when that will be.
