This monster truck, minus wheels & body are the meat of this build. The wheels are going on a 1/8 scale build.
This was a $2 thrift store buy.

Thanks Bubbajoe, I'm enjoying it too.
These rivets are plastic using a "Power Punch Kit" that will punch 16 gauge steel. Punch & die sizes are:
3/16, 1/8, 5/32, 3/16, 7/32, 1/4, & 9/32.
The brads have nice rounded heads but need a drilled hole to go into & on the other side you spread the brads apart to hold them in position, no gluing.
I use the punch now, I punch the rivets from scrap plastic & have used all sizes. Plastic I use is: .040, .060, .080

Plastic I use is: .040, .060, .080 last time i was in hobby lobby i happen to see glue dots in the craft section...they had a few sizes..can't think of the sizes off the top of my head...but as soon as i saw them i thought rivets!!!..when i get back there i'm going to pick some up and i'll post a couple of photos to show you what they are.
