really like the work, I am sure the Ghostbusters will come as it looks like the one in that movie, but once you add the details, the team will probably think.. oh thats not the one, lets get going... LOL

this is a fun project (so far).. No obsticals thus far and the Knight just MIGHT get a mod or two or might remain a straight-up build we shall see. Still waiting for the imaginative light in my head to aluminate ...lol..

I've got the teeth made and the whacky eyeballs... most of the areas I wanted to smooth up are done.. I need to do a little creative scribing to replicate toes on his feet.. right now he looks like he's wearing shoes..lol...

your little guy looks great...can't wait toes more I've tried enhancing his feet by scribing toe lines... I should have done a better job shaping the feet to begin with.. This is a great learning curve for me beings this is a first time experience.. I'll make do with what I've shaped but have made notes for NEXT time !.. I started assembly of the Knight which has lots of parts... I'll post pics when I get a little further along ..

Chuck.......it might be easier (and a lot less fussin') to simply cut his feet off at the ankles, shape new ones ( a little closer to what you want) and glue 'em on rather than trying to put a band-aid on what you have......just a thought.

Good call Don.. I may try shaping the feet first.. They're not as big as they appear in the photos and with a pair of ball mitts for hands makes the task a little more challenging... I might give this a go as not having worked with making figures I didn't know that was an option ...

Same, same as working on a model vehicle Chuck........if (for instance) you didn't like the wheels it came with, you'd just change 'em without giving it a secound thought. Here's a tip when working with "ball mitts" - rather than trying to sculpt or shape the whole foot.....just shape the basic foot without toes, sand it to the shape you want.....next just roll whatever medium you're using into little round balls or cylinders (different sizes) for the toes - stick'em on the foot. A couple coats of primer will fill in the seams where you glued the toes on. Sounds a bit fussy but it'll save you a bunch of time carving, shaping, sanding and frustration. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the mental nudge guys... I ventured into unchartered territory...lol... I did some sanding and added toes to the existing feet.. It looks much better.. I'm hoping to squirt some primer tomorrow before posting any progress pics... I also went out today looking at paint options for base coat colors and I've got a couple in my sites.. This,is going to be a quick build project for a shelf stuffer not a contest piece.. Stay tooned !
