Ok Kids .. I see some time getting cleared up for doing some casting .. What I would like to do is get a head count on those interested in receiving a body to participate in the upcoming contest .. It's hard for me to determine how much product I need to have on hand without knowing how many will be requested.. what I would like to do is get a head count so I can determine the cost involved (including shipping) then I can let everyone know what the cost would be. the more that participates the less expensive they can get.. Keep in mind in the event that someone orders and retracts their order will add cost to everyone else's.. I want to be as fair to everyone included .. Questions ? Comments welcomed please !

Jonathan.

Here is an update on the Sand Box project... this started early this morning .. We measure and build a mold box... then situate the subject on a clay bed to hold it securely in place.....the pink bubbles are the air being taken out of the RTV rubber via vacuum chamber at 28 inches of vacuum....once the bubbles have been evacuated we slowly pour the liquid in the corner of the mold and allow it to encapsulate the subject.....now we wait for the curing process and do the "B" side of the cast....

That's neat , never seen pictures of the air bubbling out before ! Bob this is due to putting the material into a vacuum .. in the earths atmosphere it's only possible to pull 28 inches of vacuum .. by doing this in a chamber it pulls the oxygen out eliminating the bubbles.. in real time it looks like a living organism crawling around in the bowl... lol...
