I'd been waiting for one of these for so long, that as soon as it arrived, I had to pop it open and do some work!!
The body was unified (unibodied?) and cleaned up. With a little creative splicing, I was still able to glue in the rest of the parts with no difficulty. Even tho it's molded in a nice shimmery green, the body got a coat of Testors Lime Ice to even it out (very close to the plastic color, tho even more sparkly). Then some polished out clear. The silver plastic parts were given a light coat of Testors Diamond Dust to brighten them up a bit, and some red metallic highlights.
Thanks for lookin!

Great job , that color looks awesome ! I think molding the two body halves together is the #1 improvement to make , it really makes a huge difference . Looks like you molded the roof on too . . . excellent !

Heh, probably looks a hunnert times better than my first one so many years ago And, yeah, Bob, I did pre-attach the roof. I found I could slip the seat in after trimming off the top and bottom tabs. Though it’s a tight fitting snap kit, it still helps to glue and smooth.
