Back in 2011, Brandon had used a Wild Willy Jr kit to build a DW-style beach jeep. I thought I'd grab one and do a version for my shelf as well! I was looking for more of a 4 wheeler look for mine. The chassis and rear tires are from some pull-back toy. With a little trimming it fit in perfectly, and still has play-ability! Didn't even try to hide the screws ;D The front wheels and spare are from a Hot Wheels Monster truck. The original motorized kit was meant to take a beating, so the roll bar and windshield frame were made from a more flexible plastic, which refused to be painted. I scratch built a more acceptable (and taller) set. The lamps are all from the button bin. The only parts of the original kit I used were the body and the driver's arms. Leroy's head was a cHevy driver, and the hat, vest, and gas can are Sculpy. Thanks for lookin'!! ;D

Really like the sculpy work, Leroy's hat kills me, goes well with mullet hair cut, LOL. Great mix and match on the wheels and tires. Thanks for great pics. Cheers Eh!
