Presenting the Ferd Shellby 426.9! Started this back in January, and after several trips to the purple pond (changed my mind about the body color, and then a decal screw up) I finally got around to finishing it up. The body is a Monogram Shelby Cobra, with a large section taken from the middle. It's painted a custom gun metal mix of Rustoleum Aluminum and Black, with regular silver automotive pinstripes. Scratch built the undercarriage to be very close to the Tirebird's. The wheels are a set I cast in black resin, then painted the hubs. Pipes are various pen parts and sprue. Thanks for looking!!
