My take on this release. Built box stock. It's a solid fitting piece... and much bigger than I expected compared to other monster car kits. Where the Roth kits went big monster/smaller rod, the Willys and its motor are impressive. Chrome parts are Alcadded, headlights and grille are BMFd, all under Future clearcoat. Driver and flames were a combo of spray and drybrush. Only disappointment is the logistics of fitting the driver with his arm cleanly into the cab. I tried jimbertges idea of gluing the whole body together before fitting the arm thru the window, but I needed to remove the thumb first, and still had to do touch ups to paint scars on the shift arm.

Thanks, guys! I do like that blue. It's Testor's Icy Blue Lacquer, just shot over gray primer. It laid down so nicely, I didn't want to tempt fate with a thick gloss coat... hence the Future. Actually the first time I'd used it for a body, and I applied it with a brush (same for over the Alclad). I shot those pics outside (indirect sunlight) with some fill flash, and the color came out pretty true. I didn't mention it in the original post, but I also closed up the open-wall tires with sheet PVC. Seemed like the thing to do.
