Many thanks go to our own Wardster for supplying me with his custom T-34 turret to start this project.
It all started 8 days ago when I received the beautifully cast turret in the mail.
I got to work right away on some mods for the project:
Using a Glitterbug kit I removed the front turn signals, built the blackout lights, added a jerry can, removed the gas filler tabs and replaced with a peace symbol then installed a crash bar under the nose.
The engine was de-chromed and I added real brass .22 shells in place of the velocity stacks.
On the turret I made a periscope, added a couple of grab handles, a tarp and a shortened tank cannon I found in my parts box. I made the toilet seat hatch and the driver was from the VW Van kit.

Glad everyone likes it!
I just scratch built the toilet seat out of styrene. The hinges were scrap and so were the little toilet seat "bumpers."
The peace symbol was a little uncooked macaroni I had laying around from a box of Annie's peace pasta!
I painted it in desert camo because I figured it was a dune buggy after all so it would be on the sand. And the driver had to have sunburn on his head, nose and neck.
This whole car just fell together except that exhaust.

"Uncooked macaroni". Classic cleverness there, sir! ... and sweet lookin' build overall, too! Lovin' it!
