Hi guys Here's a "Willy Wild" 33 Willys I did over fifteen years ago. I wanted to make the car look like it was going past the finish line at speed then popping the chute/concrete block to slow the car down. I scratch built the parachute pack, concrete block and wheelie bar contraption that Ohio George used. If you look close the driver figure was made from a Papa Smurf figure with a scratch built helmet. I hope the pictures are good enough. I had to wait until the sun made an appearance which is kinda rare at this time of year in Minnesota. The sun is so low in the sky that it's hard to get good light plus it was 10 degrees outside where I took the pics. Jim Johnson

It looks fantastic Jim ! Always love it when motion is captured and you did just that .... Being an old Super Gas racer I can appreciate the cement block for sure !!

Great Willys Jim ! I like the idea of a it being a little dio with the cinder block to stop it ! And I just saw the spring to eject the block . . . that's too funny !!

That is an Awesome build! I love the chute and cinder block with the spring such a great idea and the execution of it was superb. Very nice paint job and the flames and smoke look great! Wonderful build!!!!!
