Great job... Can I ask what paint you used on the blower and scoop, it looks like oxidized aluminum, really cool!

I was going to leave it chrome, but after I glued it together it showed a lot the seams and where it was attached to the spure.

Great job... Can I ask what paint you used on the blower and scoop, it looks like oxidized aluminum, really cool! There is another option with painting chrome on your car. Some times you dont want to send it out for chrome plating which is also a great one but time waiting is qutie a while... ( usually 2 to 3 weeks ) . you can check the link, I use this one and it works very super!... you will have to paint the parts or body gloss black first... making sure its smooth and very dry.. then paint the chrome over it... not like a normal painting... you will have to kind of whiff up a little and cover enough over black paint.. It will look gloomy at first.. but when it dries up.. it shows out a really sparkle shiny chrome. check this link... www.amainhobbies.com/rc-cars-trucks/spaz-stix-mirror-chrome-paint-2oz-szx10000/p9987you can find this in amazon for a cheaper price.. but the one I just posted are something you can check and order at your own convenience time. Enjoy

I'm not sure if I've used Spaz Stix or not but I used a power substance that is handled came off over time ... I turned to "Alclad" to feed my chrome desires and have had exceptional results that have held up year after year.... By the way there's nothing wrong with silver paint you used ! I think It looks great buddy !
