DW's Van

90% done and waiting on some Corona decals. Painted super gloss white on top and satin deepblue on bottom and then hit it with a high gloss clear. to me the blue look like it has a leather grain. I Was upset but after sleeping on it I have come to like it even if its "incorrect". I added a chrome bumper, just didn't like the wood. Left the Mercedes symbol in the box and instead I stretched a 1/48 bigrig tire over a 1/16 VW hub. added yellow bulbs to the headlamps, wired the micro motor and gave Lucero some tattoos.   Dave called him "van man", nice but not a name. I chose to call him Lucero because the name means - the bringer of light. And with the Corona decals he will be........Lucero, the bringer of light, Beer. before Y'all ask no I dont like Corona or any alcohol, I am a teetotaler.

Thanks guys. I did notice that the blue bled a little on the back passenger side so I'll do a touch up on the today.
