Revell to re-release Baron airplane kit

Hi all. On one of the other threads, I noticed people talking about the Baron kit (from the Deal's Wheels airplane series) going to get another re-release. I didn't notice any other details, really, in that other thread ... so I thought I'd look it up on Revell's site, and post the info -- which is that they're planning on doing a re-release sometime in the third quarter of 2016. Yes Sir. That's where I got my info, also found out on the TowerHobies site they say expect it in late July. www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0091p?&P=W&C=SAM&V=RMX  I might even pre-order one.

Pretty decent price too . Don't expect it molded in red though , most likely it'll be white .

Which would feel weird at first, since I've only ever seen that particular kit in red ... but (he quickly adds!) would be fine with me. Lots of (real world) non-red "Fokker Triplane" WWI paint schemes out there to choose from! And some of them, including the "factory look" (more or less a streaked-dark-green-over-linen) would almost feel more "natural" with white kit parts. Or more tempting, perhaps? Something. Anyway, thanks for the reminder that these are almost upon us!!


Edit -- Looks like CultTVman's hobby shop is announcing this kit as a pre-order ... so presumably, that's a good sign, timing-wise?
