Neat idea, and it looks great! Love the Hemi conversion! Thank you. Hemi's is in my blood, I come from a long line of Chrysler/Mopar people. Give me three days I can build a 1:1 running 426Hemi for ya. -Jonathan

I did get more done last night, guns, final 2 wings and tail. I truly like TooOld's clear stand rod, but I'm to far along to cut holes in the bottom of the plane. Old sprule makes an ok stand under the back wheel. I also made a spot lamp. The arm it sits on is a landing gear for a WWII plane and the lamp is from an Aoshima Gorilla trail bike 1/12 scale. the top wing needs decals and the Baron has not been touched yet.

I got the baron in today. head, helmet and legs. Baron got a light grey uniform with red piping and gold shoulder pads. I found a clear lens to use for the monocle, even has a small imperfection in the center that looks like an eye. Shiny black German helmet. The legs are there, you can just see them above the wheel. Pants are light grey with red piping. Black boots. I have yet to add the top wing decals. But this is close to done. I only have the one pic at this time. First my Iphone died then came back with limited capabilities. Then 2 days later Iphoto corrupted, won't open and freezes the mac when I try to open. I took some pics to send to my mother and father who a very interested in this build. My mother Emailed this one back. Thanks Mom, you rock! Thanks for checking out my Barron. I will try to get more pics up soon, even if I have to "barrow" someone's phone. Jonathan

I had finished, just needed to take some pics and post. My cat had other ideas, found her sleeping on the box I had the baron in. It looked worse then it ended up being. Just a lot of regluing. all back together but the cat is eyeing the baron, think he'll go in the closet tonight. Yes that is the cat from my avatar, her name is Sweat Pea. named after the plant, and like the plant she too is pretty and deadly. Got her off the Eel river bar. Good ratter and takes on the biggest of raccoons. Check out those fuzzy toes!

Thank you. Yes the "V" belt comes from old E-waste printers. In most printers the printing head is pulled across using 2 of these belts. 1 Printer gave me 2 looped belts. I cut them each to lay them flat, I ended up with 2 (20inch by 2.5mm) "V" notched belts. on most models 2.5mm is to wide for the pulley size so I slice them in half to get 2 skinny 1.25mm belts. 1 Printer has lasted me years! good stuff. I love these belts as they cut well, glue easy and look great. Thanks Jonathan
