I was given parts to a zzzzz-28, no driver and no wheels or tires. I only started building 2 years ago, so i've missed some cool stuff. My budget is very small, so i try to buy kits for $15 or less, per month. I Love Deal's Wheels but only have 3, so to get one as a surprise was awesome!!!!!!! Glitter bug, Van, Nomad. I did just finish the Baron, but he's more wingy than wheely. Got out the box of tools and going to get a start on it today. Here is what i have.

Free is always good , and you've got most of it to get started ! Look for some 1/18 diecast or 1/16 model wheels & tires , some of them look really good on Deal's Wheels .

I found some wheels that work. I am playing with color ideas. I think i like a Sunshine yellow, good 1960's-70's color. I'm going with a ROYGBV paint theme. my gomad is a deep red, my Glitterbug is a bright Keylime and my van is a cobalt blue. so i have R GB , and need OY V . I wanted to paint it Orange, but my wife thought i should finish the primary colors first. A Yellow comaro with black stripes.

I thought i had a long hunt in front of me. Then Bob told me to look for 1/18 size, had some in an old box of toys. So I should say that our friend Mr. Fletch sent the zzzzz-28 along with kits i bought from him. I used up my budget for the next 4 months but he offset that with an extra something. For that I am very grateful. Fletch- very cool of you. Thank you. Jonathan

The Cragars are perfect for a Camaro and yellow w/black stripes sounds fast !

Thanks Bob! After wheel and tires all i'm looking for is a head. so i went out and found these toys. Taz is to big, Donald is to small, Kirk is huge, my wife refused to let my cut up Ponch and she took Kermit. I'll keep looking.

Having not found a head, it looks like I'll do this one driver less. I did try to make a sculpy head many times without any success. so I'll move on. I've done a little work here and there, just small things. Painted the body last night.

Spare Deal's Wheels drivers can be hard to come by unless somebody does a lot of resin casting . Don't give up , driver's can be found in the strangest places . . . the one in my avatar is a Toy Story character I found in Michael's for about five bucks !

Thanks Bob- Oh, i wont give up. I plan to, learn to sculpt better, take trips to the thrift store and $ store. I'll find those heads. And it's not the end of the world to have one car without a driver. Jonathan
