From from the photo they've shown so far, it looks to be the Hot Rod Surf Board.

I tried the Auto World Store site and he's not there either , and I don't think they take pre-orders . Every other site still shows a late March availability .

I picked one up at my local hobby shop yesterday. It comes in a larger box than the original but the parts fit in there much better!!! Molded in white plastic instead of the original tan. The surfboard looked warped but I checked my original kit and the board was in the same shape as the newer reissue. I guess its supposed to be that way? Anyway what a really cool kit - brings back memories!!!! I never thought kits like these would ever be reissued again. Steve

I will take some pics for Y'all. on the whole, for the age of the molds, the kit is not too bad. I have seen worse. I have waited for a year to put my hands on this kit. I will build this kit if it kills me. I have seen hpiguy's youtube review of this kit over a dozen times, good stuff. He seems to have gotten a good one.
The kit I have is very doable. I have a kit with a lot more flash then he does. some of the ejector pin marks are heavy thick slugs and still one or two others have almost pushed through. But from what little I have done and dry fit, everything fits well and most of the pin marks should be easy to hide. I have found one or two spots where the plastic has pitted or not fully poured into, but they are tiny and with abit of superglue to fill, no one will see. the decals are very nice. I have found that the instructions say that all the parts are numbered sequentially so that you start with 1 glue on to 2 ect. this is nice and the instructions have the part numbers, however the parts trees don't. Again not a big deal; i can tell that the two halves of the motor go together, not a lot of similar looking parts. But then I got to the drive shafts and the prop shaft; they all look similar. And the prop shaft is drawn different then the part you get. So a bit of sanding and some test fitting, nothing I wouldn't do on any other kit.
I am on the whole happy with it and I'm sure Y'all would be too.
