Hello all.. if for some reason you received a body that hasn't cured pm me and I will get a fresh body out.. we all know that resin will give that sticky feel when sanding and has its own quirks .. but if you feel you received a lemon let me know and I'll make certain the replacement is sent pronto.. no charge !!

Mine worked out great. I set it outside on a cool day and all has been rock hard since.

thanks for the update.. ! I think there were some that I didn't wait quite long enough before de-molding.. I heat the mold every time before I pour and then allow the mold to cool down before removing.. when pouring a casting this thin it requires a substantial amount of heat to make the resin "set" or "cure"... a bit of black magic is also interjected into the process...lol... regardless... PM me if you need a new body.. Let's do this right ! I'm casting today so these will ship tomorrow.. sorry to those who got a "lemon" .. Chuck

Here the body after cutting windows, tires and bumpers. Since the mold is very soft I had to reinforce the inside of it, it will help keeping the body on shape. New body coming your way Briz ... I must not have waited until the mold cooled down enough to help the resin set.. fresh one on the way Monday my friend !! Chuck

I'm sorry you had to make another one. If you have no use, or nobody else want it, let me know I will buy it. I'm really having a great time with this project! After I got rearended 7 month ago, I had difficult time to find the motivation to build a kit. I'm still try to find a solution to fix my body, and the pain does not allowed me to stay sit for a long time. But like I said I'm having a great time with this one! Here the back of my VW...
