The paint is Testor's 1843 One Coat Star Spangled Blue over gray primer. This is the inspiration for the build. A good friend of mine did four years in the U.S.Navy and got discharged in 1969 in Long Beach Cali. He bought this nomad and drove it home to Royersford,PA. He still owns the car as you see it here. Thats the metalflake paint and the Mexican interior from then. the drivetrain and brakes were updated.
