I have rarely used a few parts made with resin cast... so I am now building a model which is made entirely of resin. I would need to know which glue is best used for that type of work. I do understand that testor glue is not very reliable but would like to know which is best to use.
and what glue also is best used for softmetal parts?
Thanks

With resin and soft metal parts I always use Superglue from Loctite. Never had any issue. With some soft metal, like white metal parts I drill holes and put pins so when the parts are assembled they have some extra strenght.

Same here ... loctite brand superglue works great on resin and white metal parts.. pre-fit your parts first.. once you are ready for final assembly make your super glue application and joint your parts immediately where you want them and count to 20 pressing firmly the entire time.. USE THE GLUE SPARINGLY !! THE BETTER THE FIT THE BETTER THE RESULT ... Remember that with super glue the more you use the longer it takes to cure... I have in some instances used 5 minute and 15 minute epoxy .. just my 2 cents worth

Through one of my jobs is with Hunter Douglas, installing window treatments they send Loctite 414 superbonder, works great. Never had to buy it but I'm sure it's cheap; Hunter Douglas always sends to much.

Ive been using Loctite too. Zap brand makes a pump spray kicker that makes the glue cure instantly when sprayed onto glued area.
