Just using some left over parts from the Baron kit and a Weird-ohs rear end. The body was given to me. I want this to be simple like a DW or Weird-oh kit.

underneath. Took five days to get this much chrome off the pipes. First two and a half days in bleach which did not do anything then two and a half days in Purple stuff which got them this far. That is some extra heavy chrome plating.

After putting primer on everything I got some color on it yesterday. It looked great yesterday but today all the cut lines have turned black. I forgot this was a snap tite (different kind of plastic) so I used lacquer without first sealing it. But on the plus side all the lines stand out. Good enough for me as this is just for fun.

I won't have a problem with the dark lines; looks like the car has large panel gaps. All the old Fords it my family have huge panel gaps. I do dig that green!

Always a plus for me to see panel lines darker.
