I acquired a neat little 5” tall figure of Stroker McGurk all painted up holding a wrench .. I though how cool it was and I had never seen this posed “statue” of him .. well I got to digging and found that he was actually the figure that came in The Stroker Phonebooth model kit .. someone had removed the phone from his hand and replaced it with a wrench .. well let’s say the rest is history .. lol

Many have asked what all is involved in casting resin ... everyone does things with whatever works for them .. this works for me , examples of mold making supplies in my arsenal are ; mixing cups, containers, mixing sticks, vacuum pot , 2-stage vacuum pump, clay , lego blocks for building mold boxes, 4 pounds of RTV and an endless supply of casting resin in addition to many hours of time..

Wow what a find! I enjoy learning about casting. I once thought it was out of my league; the more you share, the more i think a could cast one day.

Yep Growly, You can cast. If I can I'm sure that you can. From what I see Doe would be a big help too. Yeah there is a little trial and error. I started with small parts and am workin' my way up. There is lots of help here on Toon site and check out the how too videos on the Smooth-on.com site. Smokey

So whats the plan for Stroker? Kinda looks like you might be about to make your own clone Army. I’m setting here with a fresh mold and 1 built and painted Stroker on my shelf... I guess I could see how many different outfits I could paint ... lol ...
