A C-Cab, bug-sucking custom cartoon rod!



A couple of firsts for me on this one: first time flocking (okay, so only the seats), and first time building a whole body from scratch. The C'naardvark being a cartoon car with no precedent, how could any of it be wrong! ;D



Two-tone paint job, orange over deep gold base.





Tho meant this to be a wheel-stander like the rest of the Snapper style kits, I also like it in the nose-to-the-ground, "Bug Sucker" pose.

Excellent scratchbuilding, and paint!

A fellow modeler puts BBs inside the body, loose, so that if you lift the front- enough to get the BBs flowing to the rear- then they shift the weight enough that it keeps the front up. Does require a bit of engineering, including enough space and length behind the pivot point- the rear axle.

Up or wheels down it gets 2 thumbs up from me buddy.. not sure why but I’ve got a craving for a box of chocolate covered ants and “dreamcycle” orange drink ...
