Excellent scratchbuilding, and paint!
A fellow modeler puts BBs inside the body, loose, so that if you lift the front- enough to get the BBs flowing to the rear- then they shift the weight enough that it keeps the front up. Does require a bit of engineering, including enough space and length behind the pivot point- the rear axle.
