Hello good people! I am a modeler from way back that has been a fan
of the stuff others did NOT build back then!!
The crazy Cartoon cars, the horror scene kits from Polar Lights, the
great big Frankenstein kit that was all out of proportion was cool.
Building those kits back in the day just made me smile, the Car-Toon
ones were very cool, and a bit out of reach ($$) until lately again.
So hello, and I look forward to what I might find here!!

Welcome David !! Glad to have you and welcome to the best darned Car-toon board on the planet ! The door is always open and a lot of us pop in on a regular basis .. some have busier schedules than others.. the point is we are a family and have lots of fun and my right hand man “Tooold” heads up some awesome little contests which were in the midst of now!! Hey David, I officially welcome you to this funny farm.... not that that gets you any special privileges 😉😊
I built some of the Aurora [pretty sure] monsters back in my century.... pretty sure Polar Lights hadn't been invented yet. Had a very cool guillotine kit, that worked! Yeah, poor little plastic dude.... you laid him down, dropped the blade, and his head fell into the basket below.... great fun! 😄😄
Had the Frankenstein, Wolfman, skeletons, and eventually kitbashed them all, smeared the good tube glue all over them and lit them up!! That was fun too 🤗
Always wanted to get Big Franky, but it just didn't seem right....
Glad you're here, and looking forward to seeing your stuff.

I do believe your right John about the Polar Lights!
It was Aurora then, but the logo looked kinda the
same though!

I have no kits of this type anymore. But I know that the stuff
is available again, and am quite happy about that!!
Also, I looked around on your forum the other day! That was also
a lot of fun. Show Rods etc. have been a big favorite of mine!!
