I guess some explanation is needed.
I design and build (and sell) paper model kits.
One of my things is my Koolwheelz Collection.
These are one sheet, heavily simplified, stylized models of "kool" rides that people might recognize.
(Key is one-sheet - small scale models, in as few parts as possible, that will all fit on one sheet)
The designs are mainly for me...but I distribute them freely on my website as bait.
The subjects are vehicles that have some importance or connection with me.
The collection includes a lot of Movie and TV vehicles, as well as Hot Rods, Hot Wheels, old plastic Kits, show cars, customs, etc
I am attending the annual paper Modelers convention this year and the theme is "fish"...whatever that means to you.
In the past, I have displayed my larger scale Aircrcaft and Military Vehicles (paper models)...
but because I planned to display my entire collection of Koolwheelz models this year, I thought about adding something that might tie into the theme of "fish".
For example...I already have two small models of the original Corvette Mako Sharks.
But I was thinking something new...something more custom or cartoonish might be nice.
Obviously it needs to be something that already exists in the real world...or as a Toy...or in a Movie...or even in art form.
Not just a random hot rod with fins stuck on it.
Thats what made me think "is there a Tom Daniels or Dave Deals kit?"
Or "is there an actual show-car with a fish related theme?"
Don't get me wrong (plastimatic)...the Killy Willys is very cool.
I like what you have done with it, and how well you have done it!
But its a one-off original idea...not the type of thing I might turn into a Koolwheelz model.
And (modelcarfan) I'm not into papier mache. lol

Maybe I should be asking this at Coffin Corner?
