Okay, so, as previously posted, the startup debris for the Zinger contest:
The body is from a junkyard Lindberg Denim Mite, which looks to be 1:43 scale. A bunch of parts from a Zinger dragster (I may never build one of those as box stock) Some other random stuff tossed in (which will probably continue, until my girlfriend is tired of looking at the mess I've created on the dining room table, testing out different looks).

I think I could be ready for some paint, except for all the dang humidity out here in Northern Virginia

Managed to get some paint on this boy, despite the 92 o heat and humidity out here . The body got a base coat of fire orange, overcoated with a deep orange pearl lacquer, polished out. For a subtle color shift, the engine block was base coated in deep red with a outer coat of red pearl.
