Bought several cans of this stuff years ago.. I’ve tried it in several projects over the years with zero success .. it was applied over properly prepped plastic and primer and still failed.. regardless of subject matter or model company it failed hands down . This crap would always leave a trail of tiny bubbles along a body edge regardless of how lightly it was applied .. at first I chalked it up as poor prep, old paint, contamination, incompatible primer etc.. NOTHING I did changed a single result for the better. I should have returned what I had purchased as within a week one of the cans started leaking out of the bottom seam in the can. I bought fresh stock and same result .. my latest issue came in my Zinger entry which really got my goat !! so at this point the latest project is in the purple pond and the Testors One Shot is all being shucked in the garbage !! Yep , throw that crap in the trash ! The only way it to get it to work is to spray super super heavy wet coats on the verge of running all over the place ! I think they made it for guys that know nothing about painting and always make a big mess with other brands . Come to think of it . . . that's probably why people like the Wet Look Clear .

Yep - bad quality lately for sure. Pic is of a brand new can - note it is still sealed - leaking all along the bottom.

Well, you could always send it my way! I used it on an Uncertain T with no primer (which is stated somewhere that is something you can do) and with primer on my Zinger. Decent results. It isn't something you can touch up easily tho. Maybe the mile-high altitude and low humidity works in my case. cheers

That amazing that so many guys have had problems with this paint - I have used it dozens of times on my builds with no problems ! I just put a base coat of silver or white and spray very light coats until I get the shade I want. I can honestly say I haven't had any runs, bubbling or crazing of the basecoat . Now most other Testors brand sprays gives me fits, they never seem to cover well or the cans spray out like a garden hose .and it takes forever for the paint to dry. If you look at some of my builds here and on the C.C the paint came out smooth .. Attachments:
