Hello all .. I’m sure we’ve reviewed this topic before but products change over time so I wanted to re-visit. Are there any specific CA glue’s that you prefer over others ? I have various types and brands of modeling glue for both plastic and glass installation. I used to use a CA superglue called “zap” but out local hobby shop now carries a generic version which I don’t feel works as well .. what’s on your shelf ??

I have been using Testors glue all the time... some times used superglue, zap... expoxy which is up to some area that needs a good bonding and standing.. so really all three are what I use most. I am open to ther better ones

I mark the liquid glue lids to jars to control my habit of lettin' them open.

Guess I'm old school 'cause I still like the orange tube Testors Model Cement , I use it 90% of the time . I use purple label CA glue and 5 min Epoxy from Bob Smith Industries for almost everything else , but also on hand is Tamiya Liquid Cement and Model Master Clear Parts Cement . With lots of clamps of all kinds these get the job done for me .

I use the Tamiya and Testors liquid cement and the purple bottle CA on everything. The big bottle "The Ultimate" is great for clear parts and the old black squeeze bottle "not quite liquid" Testors comes in handy about once a year. how to take a screenshot on a pc
