So, not only have I collected some of the Weird-ohs models I also have four of the polar Lights horror monster kits. I have Mummy's Chariot, Dracula's Dragster, Wolf Man's Wagon, and Frankenstein's Flivver.
I'm missing King Kong's Thronester and Godzilla's car that was simply named "The Go Cart" since, I guess, Polar lights/Playing Mantis didn't have the rights to use the Godzilla name. I guess my question is, would these be considered "toons"? I didn't see them mentioned in the list.

Here's the mummy I just finished gluing together. The fit of this kit is pretty bad. It's like some parts are an afterthought. Also, it's pretty greasy. Like they used petrolatum as mold release. Gave up on painting most of it even after it was washed because the paint just wanted to run. I got the motor, tank, and lights painted and I thought that was about as much headache as I wanted to endure. Good thing it's glow in the dark. I'm saving on to the sprues. Maybe they'll come in handy.  |

I would like to see them included as well. You don't ever see many built-ups of this set of 6 models.

Actually I’m thinking these kits SHOULD be allowed .. they are unique in their own way like many of the Japanese kits .. they are boarder line but still I like seeing all the detailing and these are somewhat rare !! I agree . We must have discussed this a few months ago 'cause I already have the box art on my computer but never did anything with them !   |

I agree . We must have discussed this a few months ago 'cause I already have the box art on my computer but never did anything with them ! These are great kits .. kind of in no mans land on being toons or show rods ... I’m glad we discussed and enjoy all the detail work photos and fished products that have been posted ! |

I always thought they were tooned kits. Monster in a car. Can't get much more toonish than that. And look at how wild their cars are. Just my two cent's worth.
