This was another restoration, although a very minor one. It came apart, I painted the driver and the details, polished the original purple body and put a replacement engine in it. I'm thinking someday I should tear it down and spray the body a high gloss clear to make the purple metalflake stand out .  |

It was reissued in the 1980's in the "Funster" series, but thats the last time it was out. I think there was some problem with GM about bringing it back again.
