I'm missing one slick for my super spurt I'm restoring . I have the inside piece . Will buy or trade if possible. Parts are the same for the Phony car , as I'm sure everyone knows. Can anyone help me restore this gluebomb ?

I'm missing one Bunny slick for my super spurt I'm restoring . I have the inside piece . Will buy or trade if possible. Also could use radius arms # 22 & # 24 , and the rare as hens teeth headers and tips. Parts are the same for the Phony car , as I'm sure everyone knows. Can anyone help me restore this gluebomb ? I might be able to help you out, on the "Bunny Slick" -- or maybe not. I looked through my (tiny) collection of some glue-bomb kits I got, years ago, off of eBay or whatever, and I have what I THINK may be the part you need. I'm not 100% certain, though, because it's more of a "cheater slick" than a true (totally treadless and groove-less) "slick". The one I have has four straight lines (not jagged like normal DW tread: just four looks-similar-to-lathe-cut, not-very-deep "cheater slick" grooves) on the tread portion, and on the outside, it has the lettering, "Good Boot" but in between those, it has what I believe is the bunny logo. Is that it? If not, then hopefully someone else around here can help you out with what sounds like a cool restoration project.

Thanks for all the digging, mine has the 'total" slick . I think the cheater slicks may be pretty rare, I've only seen a few on some Bug Bombs ; maybe they were early issued ?

Oh well -- I tried, right? Seems I correctly guessed it wasn't quite what you were really hoping for. I also got the impression that they (the cheater slicks) were pretty rare -- but, that I know of, anyway, no one has a "Deal's Wheels tire rarity list" going, so I can't confirm that. I know I was surprised to see it, in the collection of (really gluey!) glue bombs that it came in. I don't think I'd seen one like it, or at least, didn't remember it, if I had; until that point. And I was even more surprised when I glanced through photos of other people's apparently-original-issue Deal's Wheels build-ups, and didn't see any of those build-ups with those tire types, either. As for origin: it's hard to tell, exactly, because the parts lot I bought, some years ago, was comprised of several kits (all unpainted, and coated with tube glue "over-spray" so to speak) that was all jumbled together in one cardboard box, but I think the one cheater slick I got was on a purple-plastic Stinkray kit.

Must have been bad timing on my part .. I had a 3’x8’ table loaded with buildups, tires , bodies , etc ... literally a 2’x2’x2’ box jammed full.. pretty decent stuff and yes even sets of bunny cheaters ! I ended up sending them to the east coast in a cash/trade deal .. sure thought I posted them here a year or so back 😳
