I've got two of these and wanted to build the first one right out of the box just to see what it's like . I actually snapped it all together before doing any painting and it is a very well engineered kit and goes together with no issues .
After taking it back apart I spent a couple of hours spray painting the main parts , then a couple more with a brush detailing here and there . The body was polished and cleared and I sprayed the inside with some aluminum paint , though I doubt it will be visible when it's finished .
The only thing extra I did was to sand the tires and open up the exhausts .
On to the decals and it should be finished shortly !
A heads up if you build one of these . . . the decals are very very thick and don't lay down well . Even after a couple applications of solvent the roof number still wouldn't suck down over the roof flap hinges . Next time I'm removing the hinges first .
