It has begun .. sanding and pre-fitting doing in assemblies

A little more progress today .. I drilled and pinned the hands and arms .. and started cleaning up engine parts for assembly ..

It has begun .. the resurrection of the Scumbag Express - I drilled and pinned the front spindles to give it posable wheels , also prepped parts and built sub assemblies .. I lowered the rear end to give a little attitude adjustment by grinding a notch to allow the spring to set lower ...also drilled and pinned the rear leaf spring and slightly extended the rear axle housings to allow the slicks to clear the body .. super glue and epoxy is being used in conjunction with brass rod for pinning ..

The hard part is finished and now the fun part has begun !!
The poseable front wheels is a great touch , I like to do that to all my models .

I agree !! It’s usually a quick process that adds a little ‘motion’

A little more progress .. body color is House of Kolor KK10 Kandy Purple over House of Kolor Orion Silver base.. I added Roth purple flake to the first 2 coats of Kosmic Klear then followed up with 6 more coats of urethane clear to lay the min flake down .. tomorrow final engine and chassis paint -

Getting down towards the end of this project .. it’s been a blast building .. I still have detailing to do on the Monster figure but for the most part the car is pretty much done -
