Something new for 2020 , a Featured Toon will be posted on the Home Page and will link to the source with more info and/or photos .
EDIT - If the source is not available it will link to this thread .
A new Toon will be posted every couple of weeks or every month , not sure yet , we'll see how this works out . 
Our very first Featured Toon is the "cHEAVY VAN" built by Plastimatic !
Your comments and suggestions are welcome .

I’ve always loved vans . This marks an era when life was less complicated and people felt free ! The Vanner was his own man (or women) .. great job on bringing a toned chubby chebby van to life ! Great stance , color , and the graphics are spot on period correct !! |

Featuring a Toon is an excellent idea. This will give members an opportunity to get inspired and build some ideas out of seeing the picture. I would encourage some variety of old pictures or previous models we all built once. This will help us all members feel motivated to do more with their building on the bench  |

I would encourage some variety of old pictures or previous models we all built once. This will help us all members feel motivated to do more with their building on the bench Thanks ! That is the idea for doing this , unfortunately we've lost a bunch due to the Photobucket debacle . I would encourage everybody to please restore those lost photos , we need to preserve our history ! I will be contacting individual members by email to request they take the time to help us . |

A great way to pluck at those creative nerves!
I'm sure Bob has some randomizer to sift thru all those threads, but I'm still thrilled to have the Van be the first thru the gate. I really enjoyed pulling that one together.
Can't wait to see what awesomeness shows up next.

#2This Featured Toon was built by longtime Car-Toons member Yekoms , it's a Deal's Wheels build of Jim Rockford's Gold Firebird complete with a mini dio !
It was a 1st Place winner in our "Mild 2 Wild" Contest a few years ago . Congrats Smokey !

#3Ed Roth's Super Fink has always been a favorite and this one has some really awesome paint work , plus the addition of a cool display with a crumbling brick wall !
